The system of protection of indications of source that is provided for in the new trademarks and geographical indication laws is likely to be even more appealing for the protection of traditional knowledge and traditional cultural expressions in Indonesia. In her lecture, Professor Miranda Risang Ayu will explore the suitability of this system to protect traditional knowledge and traditional cultural expressions based on several findings from her research.
