Event Outline

The course will focus on the changes brought about by the English Insurance Act 2015 to the concepts of non-disclosure, misrepresentation and warranties. Concepts such as insurable interest, duration of cover, utmost good faith, risks insured, proximate cause, exclusions, warranties and subrogation are as much part of the law of marine insurance as to ordinary property insurance and third party liability insurance. The course will be of value to those in shipping, transport and commerce.
