Event Outline

This event contrasts two approaches to the (post-Brexit) renewal of English contract law. While one approach seeks to improve doctrinal coherence, the other treats contract law as a regulatory tool. Challenges presented to the former (coherentist) approach by recent decisions of the UKSC as well as by major new transactional technologies will be discussed.
