Event Outline

This event is organised by Justice Without Borders. This workshop will introduce the wide variety of private law issues that migrant workers encounter in Singapore and upon their return home. Participants will learn about the legal remedies to disputes available to workers, as well as the available and emerging civil remedies. The transnational nature of many of these disputes raise novel issues of private law that enterprising lawyers can engage in as pro bono lawyers, enabling them to make a substantial impact in both Singapore and the region.
