E-commerce has seen some developments in recent years with UNCITRAL’s publication of the Model Law on Electronic Transferable Records in 2017. Singapore has adopted most of UNCITRAL’s e-commerce texts and these form the basis of Singapore’s Electronic Transactions Act. This seminar is intended to equip participants with a background on UNCITRAL e-commerce laws, the interaction of UNCITRAL texts and the Singapore Electronic Transactions Act.
