Event Outline

This seminar will discuss the public and private enforcement of corporate and securities laws - with a particular focus on Singapore and Hong Kong, the two leading international financial centres in Asia. Post-Asian financial crisis of 1997, Singapore and Hong Kong have changed their laws to strengthen their respective private enforcement frameworks. The question today is, whether these reforms and enforcement activities have succeed in reaching the afore-mentioned objectives.
