This event is organised by IBC Asia. This course addresses the legal and commercial basis on which shipping contracts are created. Sale of Goods contracts, Charterparties, Bills of Lading, special shipping terms, rights and obligations of the parties, standard forms used and associated costs and exposures arising from these arrangements will be examined. Gain insight on the legal basis of national and international controls, international maritime conventions and the importance and scope of marine insurance.
