There has been a glut of litigation on the mis-selling of financial products to clients across the common law world. While there are various statutory attempts to provide improved litigation outcomes for clients, the common law continues to, invariably, favour financial institutions with a battery of protective clauses. The seminar will consider the recent developments and trends in the statutory and common law protections (or otherwise) afforded to financial services clients.
