Event Outline

Modern women including lawyers and accountants face a myriad of challenges. In this session, we will explore: (a) the importance of business development (BD) so that women can move the needle on gender equality; (b) obstacles that women face in BD; (c) how women can do BD in a way that works for them; and (d) the strengths which women have that can be leveraged on in BD. How feasible are they in the context of lawyering and accounting, especially given that ours is ultimately a service industry?
