National courts of New York Convention states are obliged to recognise and enforce an arbitral award if none of the grounds for refusal applies. Amanda Lees will discuss recent case law, providing guidance on the court’s residual discretion to enforce an award, even where such ground has been made out. Christine Artero will present a comparative law perspective, looking at the position in other jurisdictions around the world
