Event Outline

Studies have shown that big data and machine learning algorithms can bring growth to many industries, such as advertising, healthcare, and more. The widespread use of algorithms also poses a threat to the rights of average persons and social justice. Promoting data literacy and algorithmic proficiency are some areas that could be explored for the purpose of ascertaining good strategies for protecting individual rights and defending social justice in an algorithmic society at the digital age.
