Event Outline

2019 marks the 70th Anniversary of the 1949 Geneva Conventions. This seminar seeks to generate greater awareness and understanding of the Geneva Conventions and also examine the contemporary challenges and possible responses to ensure that armed conflicts are conducted in a more humane manner. The event also highlights Singapore’s participation in the GC and the role of civil society in the implementation of the GC.
