Amidst a global pandemic, the world faces another collective challenge in limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees. As we approach the UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow, we consider how we achieve net zero. Australia’s High Commissioner to Singapore, HE The Hon Will Hodgman, will discuss how, during his time as Premier, Tasmania became the first jurisdiction in Australia to achieve net-zero emissions, the lessons learned and what it means for broader climate action.
