Event Outline

This seminar will discuss how new technologies such as Blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT), and smart contracts can be and are being harnessed in the trade, sea transport and trade finance sectors to achieve digitalisation. After introducing these technologies and giving an overview of their potential and expected impact in practice, the seminar will focus on the implications of digitalisation for the laws and standards governing commercial activity in these sectors.
