Event Outline

The populations of England, Hong Kong and Singapore are ageing. One of the most important questions of our time is how to allocate the burdens of providing and funding the care that increasing numbers of people are likely to need. The aim of this seminar is to explore the relationship between these questions, with reference to concepts such as the ‘social contract’ and family solidarity, and the law of family provision in England, Hong Kong and Singapore.
