Event Outline

This short course will examine recent developments in admiralty law, practice and jurisdiction, considering decisions handed down in 2019 and 2020. Issues that will be highlighted include removal of caveats, wrongful arrest of ships, notices of discontinuance of admiralty proceedings, anti-suit injunctions in parallel admiralty proceedings, exclusive jurisdiction clauses, arbitration clauses and forum non conveniens in the admiralty context.
