It is not unusual for a client to ask his lawyer for advice on matters pertaining to his Will, his estate planning and generally how personal assets and affairs will be effected or executed after his demise. A client may have assets domestically or globally and these need to be customised in estate planning. The areas to be considered include CPF, insurance, personal circumstances and intentions, estate tax planning, and mental capacity amongst many other areas.
