This session will provide a refresher of key accounting and financial reporting concepts as well as practical illustrations as to how litigators can make use of financial statements or underlying accounting records to better assess the financial position or performance of a business or achieve a range of other objectives. The content will be illustrated through case studies drawing on J.S. Held’s experience from litigated and arbitrated matters where these issues have arisen.
