This event is organised by Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration (SCMA). Singapore is at the crossroad of the east-west trade. Today, it is one of the leading maritime centres in the world, offering a myriad of services, including alternative dispute resolution (ADR). In view of the increasingly uncertain geo-political climate and risks of disruption to the global supply chain, the number of disputes is likely to increase. Against this background, the panel will discuss the suitability of arbitration, mediation, or arb-med-arb works in the shipping and trade sector.
