Jointly-hosted by Justice Without Borders and Morrison Foerster, this seminar features a comparative law study on the tort of false imprisonment in Singapore and selected Commonwealth countries. Speakers will discuss the legal and practical application of the laws on false imprisonment (namely in Singapore, the UK, Australia and Canada) with a focus on plaintiffs from vulnerable and/or marginalised groups, including migrant workers.
