Event Outline

The course will consider appellate-level decisions on ransom payments, recovery, misdelivery, causation, limitation, narrow channels, salvage, off-hire/deductions, crossing rules, entitlement, expiry of a charterparty, title to sue, liens on sub-freights and demurrage. Some of the cases will be considered in detail or highlighted but not discussed closely. Care will be taken to illustrate how the new cases develop, resolve, or raise further questions on the development of the law in this field.
