Event Outline

This lecture proposes that it is time to take Occam’s razor to the often cited six-steps framework in Chan Yuen Lan v See Fong Mun to a simplified three-stage analysis. Difficulties in proving the common intention between the parties and detrimental reliance will also be explored in this lecture by a close examination of the case law.
