This event is organised by National University of Singapore Centre for International Law. The discussion between Dr Nilüfer Oral and Professor Mbengue will include the potential role of climate change litigation in strengthening States’ compliance with their international obligations, as well as the question of human rights-based approaches by States to their policies addressing climate change. Professor Mbengue will also talk about climate cooperation through trade before sharing personal insights from his professional journey.
