The more complex the project, the more difficult it is to deliver value through traditional contracting forms. Option Module E in the PSSCOC 2020 has pushed collaborative contracting to the forefront as the best approach to deal with complexity. With INTEGRAF, collaborative contracting can now be applied to a broad range of contracts besides construction contracts. Chow Kok Fong examines the principles underlying INTEGRAF as distilled from case studies and how they apply in Singapore’s context.
