Event Outline

This event is organised by Syariah Court of Singapore (SYC), Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth. The SYC Practice Forum 2024 – The Ties that Bind will give its attendees a look into (i) the SYC hakam process in resolving marital disputes, unique to the Muslim divorce process and (ii) safeguarding children during the divorce process. Along with speakers presenters from the SYC, its panel of hakam, the Family Justice Courts’ Counselling and Psychological Services, and the Ministry of Social and Family Development’s Child Protective Services, there will also be role-play experiences and interactive discussions.
