Indonesia has recently emerged as Southeast Asia’s largest digital economy, currently valued at over US$90 billion and home to 14 ‘unicorn’ tech startups. Despite this growth, there are concerns that its laws and regulations are lagging, especially those related to its competition policy. In this webinar, Rifky will examine what makes digital markets distinct from conventional brick-and-mortar markets, and why that may necessitate a different approach to competition enforcement and regulation.
