This event is organised by National University of Singapore Centre for International Law (NUS-CIL). In this presentation Professor Joanna Mossop will provide an overview of the new BBNJ Agreement, which was adopted by the General Assembly in June 2023. The Agreement is under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, and was almost 20 years in the making.
