2025 marks two firsts for the Singapore International Arbitration Centre: a new Registrar, Vivekananda Neelakantan; as well as a new set of rules that introduces new procedures to expedite proceedings & enable more effective control of the arbitral process. Interview with Mr Neelakantan on his new role, his plans for the SIAC & the new rules. A roundtable comprising members of One Essex Court considering the impact of the new rules from counsel & arbitrator perspectives.
