Event Outline

This session is aimed at lawyers who are new to criminal practice and want a practical overview of how the mentions courts work. Participants will be taken through everything from the basics of what the mentions court is, who is in the room, and how to get your matter called, to the more substantive aspects of managing a criminal case through the mentions stage, including bail applications and applications to leave jurisdiction.
