Event Outline

Witness evidence is often the most important and most vulnerable part of an arbitration case. A well-prepared witness anchors a tribunal's findings; a poorly interviewed one can unravel under cross-examination. This workshop teaches young arbitration lawyers rarely-taught skills: conducting witness interviews, distinguishing recollection from reconstruction, and drafting persuasive, ethical statements. Participants interview a "live" witness, draft under time pressure, and confront a late-disclosed document — then debrief with senior practitioners on judgment calls and ethics.
