The UNvisible United Nations is a new CIL webinar series exploring lesser-known UN institutions that shape international law. Its first episode examines the roles of the International Law Commission, the General Assembly’s Sixth Committee and the UN Office of Legal Affairs. The session considers how these bodies interact, balance expert-led processes with State participation, and whether their approaches create fragmentation, synergy or productive contestation.
