Attendance Policy

In order to obtain Public CPD Points for undertaking an Accredited CPD Activity or Private CPD Points for undertaking a Non-accredited CPD Activity, you must comply with the applicable Attendance Policy.

The Attendance Policy requires that:

• If the CPD Activity is 1 hour long, you must attend the whole activity. You must arrive punctually and you cannot leave the activity before it has ended.
• If the CPD Activity is more than 1 hour long, you may be absent from it for up to 15 minutes only.
• If the CPD Activity takes place over multiple days, you may be absent from the CPD Activity for up to 15 minutes only on each day of the CPD Activity.

If you have registered for an Accredited CPD Activity, we recommend that you familiarise yourself with the details of the Attendance Policy for that particular activity and take steps to comply with it strictly.

Please note that there is no facility for appeal for CPD Points. If the Attendance Policy for a CPD Activity is not complied with, then no CPD Points may be obtained.
